Write the sentence
“For [this user], the product does [this job] so they can [this outcome].” If you cannot write it, you cannot cut scope. Everything that does not serve the sentence waits.
Postpone with a list, not guilt
Notifications, extra roles, beautiful empty illustrations, five integrations — write them down The MVP is not a lesser product. It is the first product that can teach you.
Instrument the job
You need to know whether someone completed the job. Vanity signups without activation will lie to you. Do not publish fake conversion rates to the world; measure privately and honestly.
Design just enough
A design system of ten components beats forty unique screens. Users forgive a modest visual language. They do not forgive a flow that dead-ends.
